Friday Frothies – Grassy Knoll Session Ale Review

It is still bloody hot in most of the country, so this week I am sticking true to the lighter more refreshing beers yet again.

This week’s choice is a Session Ale by Grassy Knoll, whom I have never heard of before.

Getting into a beer with no preconceptions always works in your favour, as 9/10 times you are pleasantly surprised. This is one of these occasions.

With plenty of tropical aromas permeating from the glass, this light bodied, refreshing ale really hits the spot.

Little-to-no bitterness, a beautiful malty flavour and soft mouthfeel, creates a very sessionable beer. Great for a warm day if you are looking to knock back a few.

Very happy with this, so will keep an eye out for Grassy Knoll in the future!
