Welcome to another Friday guys.
Hope you are all staying safe and at home (if you can) and my thoughts go out to all the breweries, taprooms and venues that had to close their doors this week.
But, we still must drink on and try and support local as much as possible. Keep ordering online to help these small businesses and your favourite breweries get through these tough times. Every beer helps.
I found an American Red Ale in my fridge today by Slipstream Brewing, so I thought I would crack it open and give it a try and wowee. How good are red ales?
This is a pearler.
It has that malty caramelness (but not too much) of your standard red ale, but balanced out with some citrus and pine that really smooths this beer like sandpaper to a stick.
The ABV is not too strong as well, sitting at 4.5%. Creating a much easier to drink red, than some that are floating around at the moment.
A great midday isolation beer!
Stay safe everyone, support local and drink up!
