A Local Beer’s initial August release Fruits of our Labour: Banana Bread Brown Ale (5.8% abv.) is brewed with surplus fresh sourdough bread from Melbourne’s iconic Phillippa’s Bakery, blow-torched bananas that are locally sourced, vanilla extract, malted barley and fresh hops.
