Mosaic is without a doubt the favourite hop of Akasha’s brewers, and the first of their single-hopped IPAs. The Mosaic IPA has bucket loads of tropical fruit, peach and melon on the nose and palate, balanced by a moderate bitterness and light malt base.
Akasha Brewing Company was founded by Dave Padden and Wesley White in early 2015.Known for his attention to detail, consistency and innovation, their head brewer, Dave has forged a reputation for brewing award-winning, hop-centric ales. Needless to say, the Akasha team is made up of like-minded, passionate beer enthusiasts.
DID YOU KNOW?
The word ‘Akasha’ refers to the ‘fifth’ element. The ‘unknown factor’ that combines the four elements of Earth, Water, Fire, and Air. And we bring this concept to the craft of brewing beer. Whilst most beer is made from the four basic ingredients of malt, hops, water, and yeast, it is this ‘fifth’ element, the Akasha, that instils the spirit, the soul and the magic, to create a beer that is truly special. Something that we can be proud of.
