Tasting Notes
Capital Brewing Hang Loose Juice (6%) – This tasty froth is crammed full of blood orange juice and with the late addition of hops has resulted in a brew that tastes like a glass of freshly squeezed juice, with hints of passionfruit and pineapple, pouring slightly hazy and very golden.
Capital Brewing Coast Ale (4.3%) – Drawing influence from their brewer’s San Diego heritage, Coast Ale is Capital’s take on the California common ale. It’s fresh, crisp and clean with a rich malt body, fruity hop bitterness and smooth rounded finish.
Capital Brewing Summit XPA (3.5%) – This xpa is brewed for sessionability in the wild. A little easier on the ABV but still packing plenty of punch with forward hop flavours of stone fruits and passionfruit to refresh and delight.
Capital Brewing Rock Hopper IPA (6.1%) – Big and juciy, this west coast IPA was brewed to celebrate the journey to Capital’s favourite remote places. The forward hop flavours are bursting with citrus and stone fruit (peach) flavour and aroma. It’s got a dry finish and subtle malt flavours. It’s as if you’re drinking a refreshing fruit punch.
Capital Brewing Trail Pale Ale (4.7%) – Inspired by their days hiking in the hills of the Capital region and getting a good dose of mother nature, Trail Pale Ale is fresh, juicy and sessionable. With a floral aroma, smooth hop bitterness and well balanced malt profile, it finishes with a bright golden cloudy appearance. Best enjoyed outdoors or in.
Capital Brewing Evil Eye Red IPA (6.0%) – A big & bold Red IPA named after an old tree stump tattooed with an evil eye, once located on Lake George just outside the Capital. With a forward hop profile, it’s full bodied, packed with flavour and aroma and has a balanced dry finish. We’ve used fresh Batlow grown US Cascade hops for extra hop kick. Best enjoyed in season.
Capital Brewing Springboard Summer Ale (4.6%) – Perfect for those afternoons plunging into your favourite watering hole or pool. This summer ale is deliciously refreshing! brewed with orange, mandarin, honey & coriander seed. pouring slightly cloudy and very golden.
