Hope Single Malt Moonshine Extra Stout

TASTING NOTES

Hope’s Barrel Aged Extra Stout brewed with the addition of Hope Distillery’s first batch of Single Malt Moonshine – produced from 100% malted barley and double distilled in their pot still. This stylish stout is a harmony of hops, malts and spirit. Rich in flavour, with a deep dark colour and a super smooth taste.

BREWERY SNAPSHOT

At the helm of Hope Brewhouse is head brewer Matt Hogan, who has been steering production since the breweries inception back in 2014. Matt brings a winemaker’s approach to brewing, mixing innovation with tradition. His productivity is only matched by his passion, punching out new crafty masterpieces continuously. At any given time, their taps are flowing with about 12 different brews at their Hunter Valley & Nelson Bay venues.

Hot off the back of being declared the 2016 Champion Small Brewery at the CBA Awards, Hope Brewhouse also scored a full house at the 2016 Sydney Royal Beer and Cider show, earning a gold, silver and bronze medal.
