Insel Brauerei Baltic Tripel

TASTING NOTES

Baltic Tripel is a Belgian Tripel beer offering intense flavours. It is brewed on the Isle of Rügen by a Germano-Belgian brewing company, Brauerei Insel Rügen.
Wrapped in light brown paper with pictures of storks, it is part of the company’s Expedition ins Bierreich range, which represents a exploration of the animal kingdom.
In the glass the beer pours a bright yellow with an attractive creamy head. It is a fruity, spicy brew with a bouquet boasting apple and grape notes.
On the tongue, Baltic Tripel is sparkling and robust with more apple and citrus flavours, as well as orange for a sweeter note.
The mix of sweet and tart is harmonious, leading to a long, dry finish with a light hop bitterness.
