Named after the Kyuss song, Demon Cleaner is a mad representation of an American West Coast IPA featuring Strata Hops. Strata brings all your favourite hop buzzwords together in one hop, tropical, dank, coconut etc. Nelson provides more tropical character particularly passionfruit and white-wine characters. Malt is super lean and (in traditional KAIJU! Fashion) yeast esters are kept to a minimum to let the hops shine.
The team at KAIJU! Beer (Nat, Callum and Clara) describe themselves as nerdy scientists. In late 2013 they decided to start making beer professionally and released a Double IPA that was a little bit hoppy and got some attention. These guys are dedicated to their craft and do everything by hand.
DID YOU KNOW?
Kaiju! started life as Monster Mash. Yep. However a certain energy drink company didn’t like the brewery using this name, so they changed it to Kaiju! It means “strange creature” in Japanese – ones like Godzilla, Mothra, and all the baddies from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
