Lord Howe Golden Whistler

TASTING NOTES

The Golden Whistler Lager is a small batch European-style beer. This classic lager has a fresh, grassy hop palate, making it a great for sundowners over the lagoon.

The Golden Whistler (Pachycephala pectoralis contempta). The Lord Howe Island Golden Whistler is endemic to the Island. These tiny birds birds hop from branch to branch looking for insects, spiders and insect larvae and live in the native subtropical rainforest. It has been listed as vulnerable, with their population estimated at only 1,000 breeding pairs.
