Brewed since the beginning, Modus Operandi Brewing is pleased to announce that Silent Knight Porter is now in 375ml cans and launching nationwide next week – w/c 17th June with the cans leaving the building this week.
Silent Knight has long been a consistent performer on tap and is brewed all year round at Modus. It is a popular choice among the brewers. Brewed using nine types of malt, the beer was designed as a lighter version of a Russian Imperial Stout. The result is a rich, dark and decadent flavour with a smooth chocolate and caramel finish.
Given the 375ml treatment, their Porter will be available nationwide all year round. They’ll be celebrating with launch events for the Winter Solstice next week.
Always dreaming but finally formalising the concept in 2012, it all started in a motor home traveling around the US of A, blaring Creedence and delving deeper into the craft revolution. They returned home to their beloved Northern Beaches with heads full of beer lovin’ and some very talented American brewers in their bags. Hailing from Oskar Blues Brewery, they taught them and their Aussie brewers the real art of craft beer, using first class materials and practices.

Back in the late 1940’s, the site of the brewery was a wholesome farmland that fed exotic animals at Taronga Zoo.
