TASTING NOTES
Twenty five years ago, New Belgium started brewing Fat Tire Belgian Style Ale. It became an iconic beer and a symbol synonymous with craft. Now, for the first time, they’re adding a new beer to the Fat Tire family: Fat Tire Belgian White. Taking inspiration from decades of experience brewing Belgian beers, Fat Tire Belgian White is made with Seville oranges and Indian coriander, both freshly ground less than a mile from their Fort Collins brewery. It’s a fresh, perfectly sweet, natural tasting Belgian White.
BREWERY SNAPSHOT
1988. Belgium. Boy on bike. (Okay, make that a young man of 32.)
As an aspiring young homebrewer rides his mountain bike with “fat tires” through European villages famous for beer, New Belgium Brewing Company was but a glimmer in the eye (or basement) of Jeff Lebesch, who would return to Fort Collins with an imagination full of recipes and a handful of ingredients ready to embark on a whole new journey.
