Pirate Life Throwback Session IPA

TASTING NOTES

It pours with a striking orange hue, thanks to a blend of malted barley and wheat. Simcoe, Taiheke and Enigma hops supply dank and herbaceous aromas, while simultaneously generating a moreish bitter lift. On the palate, citrus pairs with notes of biscuit and spice. There’s a resinous quality too, and a bright, textured mouthfeel. It doesn’t taste like a middy – and that has always been core to it’s charm.

BREWERY SNAPSHOT

Adelaide deserves to be famous for more than churches and an iced coffee fetish. Sunshine, great food, better wine and famous festivals; it was the obvious choice for Pirate Life. Adelaide might have funny tasting water, but that doesn’t stop them from making a darn good brew.
