TASTING NOTES
Passive-Aggressive is a kettle soured XPA with Passionfruit. We have used Mosaic hops for a balanced hop flavor and a Melon/Passionfruit aroma. We then added Passionfruit pulp after fermentation to lightly soften the sourness and add a refreshing mid-palate.
BREWERY SNAPSHOT
Social Bandit’s Austrian built equipment was purchased from a little place in Japan in November 2014, arriving in Mansfield in February 2015. Thousands of components came labeled in Japanese or German! (they couldnt read Japanese or abbreviated German) so Jeff (the brewer/owner) put this all together like a 10,000 piece jigsaw with no picture (crikey). Social Bandit opened in November 2015 with 4 beers on tap. They now have 12 taps filled.
