TASTING NOTES
Urban Alley Long Beach Dreamsicle Hazy IPA, 375ml Can, ABV 6.8%
Inspired by Orange Creamsicles and the prolific Kveik fermentations of the Long Beach Beer Lab (USA). This IPA has big, juicy hop fruitiness with a solid, malty backbone and a refreshing grassy finish. Heavy doses of unmalted grains make this so smooth and creamy you might forget it’s a beer.
Urban Alley Ruby Red Rye IPA, 375ml Can, ABV 6.4%
The Ruby RRIPA, Urban Alley’s red rye IPA, is a returning favourite, with the rye giving this beer a unique taste experience and full flavour, not to mention the distinctive beautiful deep red colour that gives it its name. At a solid 6.4%, it doesn’t shy away from packing a punch, but for lovers of IPAs, this is one not to miss.
Urban Alley Dreaming of Summer Hazy Pale, 375ml Can, ABV 5.2%
The Dreaming of Summer is a Strawberry Vanilla Kveik Hazy Pale. After the success of the Long Beach Dreamsicle, Urban Alley Have taken the Kviek yeast and used it to create this fun and fruity take on the hazy pale style. Landing at around 5.2% this hazy pale ale has strong strawberry and vanilla flavours that complement the hop presence.
Urban Alley Man Goes Nowhere Sour, 375ml Can, ABV 5.4%
This year has been full of haze and uncertainty, so Urban Alley thought you should at least enjoy your time at home while you go nowhere. A curiously aromatic sour ale, whirlpooled with Amarillo hops and dosed heavily with mango and passionfruit for its secondary fermentation. Confused yet? Good. Get used to it. If 2020 has taught them anything, it’s how to be resilient. Drink fresh and stay safe.

Urban Alley found its origins with 2 homebrewers in 2015, and has developed itself into a unique brewery creating sustainable craft beer on the doorstep of Melbourne’s CBD. Their signature blonde ale was the first step in developing and brewing a range of craft beers that channel the classic beer styles of brewhouses from around the world. Combining traditional recipes with new flavours and twists, urban alley earned no less than fourteen internationally recognised awards in their first year. The team at urban alley continues to develop a diverse range of craft beers that both excites and delights its drinkers, new and old.
